01 Work is changing.
AI and automation will change the shape of work, and communities can prepare workers now rather than wait for disruption.
All In For Jobs is bringing together local and national leaders in philanthropy, business, and nonprofits to mobilize $1 billion and connect half a million Americans to jobs in 250 communities across the country.
National funders bring capital, regional funders bring regional capacity, and communities drive the outcomes. Anyone can bring an idea or a model that's already working.

Communities across America have lost jobs over recent decades, and many now face new losses from AI and automation. Three things stand in the way.
AI and automation will change the shape of work, and communities can prepare workers now rather than wait for disruption.
Training, childcare, transportation, and local employers all have to line up, and one missing piece can keep a job out of reach.
Funders in this space often work separately, so investments overlap, learning stays siloed, and communities deal with many funders one at a time.
What makes All In For Jobs different is that funders are coming together to make their investments work better for the communities they serve. Instead of acting alone, national, regional, and local funders share what they are learning, see where their work overlaps, and invest where their goals align.
Aligned capital is what funders already invest in economic mobility, coordinated through shared intelligence so the field invests differently over time.
Funding organizations working together toward the $1 billion+ goal
And many more organizations.
In October 2025, a group of funders came together around a fundamental question: how can funders work better together to connect people to open jobs and to keep people working where jobs are at risk of disappearing?
A group of funders first comes together with that question.
Re-envisioning collaboration
The group focuses on four ideas.
Invest in proven workforce interventions.
Use data and AI to sharpen investment decisions.
Coordinate national and local investment.
Spread insights across members.
Launch the campaign
Founding funders kick off with shared goals and data-sharing norms.
Build pilots, metrics, and first learnings
Run pilots, determine metrics, and implement learning loop.
Scale and report publicly
Scale high-priority solutions through aligned capital.
Sustainable infrastructure
Develop lasting capacity for philanthropy to keep working together.
Milestones from 2027 are projected and may change as the campaign develops.
Working groups are already turning shared ideas into co-funded pilots. Two are emerging.
In development
Pilot 1
Funders in the Data/Tech/AI working group agreed that replicating place-based pilots, built on mature state data systems, is the best path to scale. They are planning to jointly fund the first phase of a multi-year data initiative across multiple states. [TBD: copy ends with a stray "[" in source, confirm if content is missing]
In development [TBD: confirm status]
Pilot 2
This pilot asks how national funders can work more flexibly and innovatively with local community foundations, and identifies where there are models that can be replicated. [TBD: add who is involved and where it stands]
We don't have all the answers. But we know there are creative, innovative, and impactful efforts already underway across the country. Join us to share what's working, learn from each other, and pool resources to achieve more impact than we can on our own.
[TBD: confirm wording and next steps]
